Café Manager.
Feine Coffee Roasters | Conshohocken, PA.
Full-Time | $45,000-$50,000 annually, based on experience.
About the Role:
Feine Coffee Roasters is seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead our established neighborhood café in Conshohocken.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day performance of the café, including coffee quality, team leadership, operations, guest experience, inventory, and business performance.
Coffee is at the heart of what we do. We are looking for someone with professional café experience who understands espresso preparation, grinders, café workflow, drink quality, and the pace of a busy coffee bar. The Café Manager should be able to recognize when standards are slipping, coach the team effectively, and confidently step behind the bar when needed.
Feine also features pastries and baked goods produced by our own commissary kitchen. The Café Manager works closely with production to maintain the right product mix, manage daily ordering, minimize waste, and keep the café well stocked based on actual sales and customer demand.
What You'll Do:
- Lead daily café operations and maintain strong standards across coffee, food, service, cleanliness, staffing, and food safety.
- Manage, coach, schedule, and develop the café team while maintaining clear expectations and consistent performance.
- Protect the quality of Feine's coffee program through proper espresso preparation, grinder adjustment, recipe execution, workflow, and ongoing barista training.
- Manage inventory and daily ordering, including coordinating pastry and food needs with our commissary kitchen based on sales, pars, seasonality, and product performance.
- Maintain an inviting, well-merchandised café and ensure products are fresh, available, and presented consistently.
- Monitor labor, sales, waste, and operational trends and work directly with ownership to improve performance.
- Build relationships with regular guests and maintain Feine's strong connection to the Conshohocken community.
- Identify opportunities for local partnerships, events, promotions, and other initiatives that can grow traffic, sales, and Feine's presence in the community.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of management experience with responsibility for team performance, scheduling, training, and daily store operations.
- Professional coffee shop or café experience is required.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of espresso preparation, commercial grinders, brewing equipment, drink quality, and café workflow.
- Experience managing inventory, ordering, labor, waste, and operational standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
- A genuine understanding of hospitality and the importance of building long-term customer relationships.
- Experience working with fresh food or bakery products is strongly preferred.
- ServSafe Manager Certification preferred and required for the position.
Schedule:
This is a full-time management position requiring early morning and weekend availability. Feine is primarily a morning and daytime business, without the late-night schedule common in full-service restaurant management.
Compensation & Perks:
- $45,000-$50,000 annual salary, based on experience.
- Performance-based bonus opportunities.
- Employee discounts.
- Direct partnership with ownership.
- Meaningful autonomy over the daily operation of the café.
- Opportunity to help shape the continued growth of an established independent business.
About Feine:
Feine Coffee Roasters has served Conshohocken since 2012. We are an independently owned café built around quality coffee, house-made pastries, genuine hospitality, and strong community relationships.
We are looking for an experienced manager who can protect what makes Feine special while bringing the leadership, operational discipline, and business awareness needed to help it continue to grow.
